Zero Zone is a manufacturer of reach-in and open refrigerated and frozen food display cases as well as the refrigeration systems that work behind the scenes to cool the cases, keeping the food fresh! We also make powerful industrial refrigeration systems for food warehousing, pharmaceuticals, and even ice rinks!

Our company is structured across 2 divisions – the Display Case Division, located in North Prairie, WI, Waukesha, WI, and Mukwonago, WI and the Refrigeration Systems Division, located in Ramsey, MN and Dyersville, IA.

What Will You Do?

Under the direction of the Director of Sales Operations & Service, this position is responsible for pre- and post-sales support of key accounts to project completion and provides direction to the Sales Operations Teams (Sales, Service & Warranty, OpEx) based on customer feedback.  This position will coordinate activities with Management, Accounting, Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, Operations Excellence, Shipping, and Service Departments.  This position will include customer visits (at Customer’s Locations and at Zero Zone).

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct and coordinate sales strategies, procedures, and pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profits for Zero Zone
  • Assist sales correspondents in providing quotes to Customer by coordinating information and sales activities
  • Provide direction on products, product lines, features, and options, and direct customer feedback to assist in product development
  • Lead and oversee the bid process for Customers as required
  • Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to continuous improvement of product and installation knowledge with Customer and Customer assigned contractors
  • Performs other related work and duties as assigned
  • Supports internal accounting and sales team in daily program management activities
  • Resolve customer complaints, monitor resolutions, and maintain client relationships
  • Work with Internal Teams to determine root cause and corrective actions
  • Resolve internal bottlenecks and propose improvements
  • Participate in conference calls and customer visits
  • Document meetings and customer requirements
  • Submit progress and status reports
  • Track and follow up of projects
  • Monitor and report on service issues and resolutions
  • Hold quarterly account progress meetings
  • Prepare, monitor, and report annual sales forecasts
  • Coordinate, plan and execute customer visits
  • Assist in training external sales force via webinars and in-person events
  • Assist in training & educating internal sales correspondents

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:

  • Industry Related Experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years’ experience preferred
  • Inside Sales or Outside Sales background as part of prior responsibilities preferred
  • Strong Customer Service Attitude required
  • Computer proficiency – Microsoft Office Suite
  • Current valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
  • Requires overnight travel approximately 10-15% of the time
