What Will You Do?

The Junior Product Configuration Administrator plays a key role in Zero Zone’s ERP Product Configurator design and maintenance, as well as our customer-facing systems and processes. This role requires a blend of a technical mindset, time management ability, organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail. Primary responsibilities will involve maintaining the rules and logic for Product Configuration, taking ownership of Configurator related tasks/projects, and working cross-functionally to investigate and resolve ERP or Configurator issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Take direction from and collaborate with the Senior Product Configuration Specialist when maintaining product configuration logic within the ERP and/or CPQ environments.
• Demonstrate the ability to think logically when creating and maintaining Configurator rules.
• Work cross-functionally to develop and maintain new or existing product configurations.
• Support and troubleshoot problems related to the Configurator and ERP software.
• Assist with the upgrade and implementation of future ERP integrations and CPQ software.
• Interpret and maintain SQL reports inside the system and understand basic database schema.
• Utilize applications such as Excel to analyze data for organizational and reporting purposes.
• Assist and lead discussion related to the CR/CO process, NSO process, and CI initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:

• Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience working with ERP software, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong computer aptitude and communication skills.

SKILLS/ABILITIES/SPECIFICATIONS

• Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willingness and desire to learn or adapt new and existing skills.
• Ability to think and reason through problems which may not always have clear solutions.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as CAD drawings.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 ‘Software Suite’, particularly in MSFT Excel.
• Experience working with IFS ERP Applications or other ERP software is a plus.
• Experience working with Product Configurators and/or Relational Databases is a plus.
• Previous experience with parametric or options-based systems is a plus.
• Certification or experience with Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
